By the nature of ABS and its inherent properties, it is very important to pick the correct material for the application. Things such as izod, impact strength, melt flow, yellow index of the natural material, colorability, and gloss levels are vital to understand about the material you wish to select. Our team of resin and technical experts can aide in guiding you through the selection process, helping you to find just the right ABS for you needs.
ABS is one of the unique materials in which the quality of the material available has come a long way in the last 20 years. In the past, our customers often felt that they had to stick with one of the domestic materials we supplied in order to get the quality that they needed for a tight tolerance job. This is no longer the case. With the rise of the Asian made ABS, and the intense research that they have poured into the field, the quality of the imported grades have matched or often times exceeded the quality of some of the domestics, and at a very reasonable price. If the opportunity to use an imported grade of materials are possible, please let us know, and we will advise you on some of your lower cost options.
Many of the higher end, compounded ABS’s are often made without the tight tolerances that are needed to ensure that the materials perform up to their mechanical specifications. To avoid any problems with our materials, we use twin screw technology and computer controlled compounding methods to ensure that your custom products are of the highest quality possible, and the lowest cost. What we do is to produce great ABS compounds at very reasonable prices. Get in touch with us, and let us show you what we can do.
